Mandel FPU Test

The Mandel FPU benchmark measures double precision floating point performance across several rendered frames of the popular ‘Mandlebrot' fractal. This is an immensely useful benchmark as it measures X86/SSE2 instruction set extensions.

The Hyperthreaded, multiprocessor (SMP) and multi core aware Mandel FPU test shows incredible performance across the board with the 980X showing incredible performance characteristics.
