Queen CPU Test
The Queen CPU test is a rather simple yet important benchmark which focuses on branch prediction capabilities as well as misprediction penalties of the processor. It finds solutions for the classic ‘Queens problem’ chess methodology on a 10 by 10 sized chessboard. While this is obviously a synthetic test, it does bear significance in the real world due to the specific instruction sets being targeted.
The results are the highest we have recorded with the Queen CPU test and the overclocked CPU breaks the 70,000 figure. Monumental.
