Netflix Games coming to Apple devices tomorrow

Last week, Netflix officially launched Netflix Games for Android, marking the beginning of its new venture into the videogames market. Starting from tomorrow, Netflix Games will also be available on iOS devices too

Netflix Games are offered through the current Netflix app, although clicking on a game will take you to a direct download page on the Play Store or App Store. The five mobile games you can play at launch include; Stranger Things: 1984, Stranger Things 3: The Game, Shooting Hoops, Card Blast, and Teeter Up. Now that Netflix has acquired the studio behind Oxenfree, we would expect that game to be added eventually as well.

Rather than offering games at a higher tier subscription, or through a separate service entirely, Netflix is simply adding games as another segment to its library of content, meaning subscribers do not have to pay any extra to access them. All games will be treated like Netflix's catalogue of TV shows and movies, so you can expect an ad-free, microtransaction-free experience.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
