Microsoft will announce the “next generation of Windows” very soon

For the last 6 years, Windows 10 has been continuously updated to elevate the user experience, but it looks like the next generation of Windows is now on the way. During Microsoft's Build 2021 conference this week, the company's CEO, Satya Nadella, stated the client OS will receive “one of the most significant updates to Windows of the past decade,” meaning that it may finally receive the visual update that has been teased for so long.

During Microsoft Build 2021, Satya Nadella made a 15-minute presentation on sharing developer and cloud news, but closer to the end of the presentation, the CEO teased what's coming next for Windows 10. Although a date wasn't specified, he said that information about the “next generation of Windows” is coming soon.

It's hard to say for sure what the “next generation of Windows” means, but the first two options that come to mind are a new big update for Windows 10 or a new Windows OS. The former has been rumoured for some time. The latter is harder to believe, considering Microsoft said that Windows 10 would be the last. Of course, this can't be Windows 10X, as that has already been cancelled.

Regardless of what the “next generation of Windows” will be and when will we see it, it's possible that Microsoft will show it alongside the revamped Microsoft Store.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
