The Last of Us’ multiplayer project reportedly put ‘on ice’

Despite being known for its story, 2013’s The Last of Us featured a rather fun multiplayer mode known as Factions. Ahead of 2020’s The Last of Us Part II, Naughty Dog confirmed that the sequel would not include a Factions mode – with the team instead working on a standalone multiplayer project. Since then, the title has seemingly struggled to find an identity – with it reportedly now being put on ice.

Spider-Man 2’s file size is almost double that of the first game

With each passing generation the file sizes for games have increased time and time again, with the peak seeing titles such as Call of Duty Warzone take up to 250GB during the PS4 / Xbox One generation.
