We tested the 4K random write performance of the drive through a range of queue depths. The setup for the tests is listed below.

When it comes to our 4K random write tests, the drive peaked at QD4 with a test result of 281,126 IOPS before slowly dropping back as the queue depth deepens to finish the test run at QD32 with a figure of 277, 858 IOPS (1,137.85MB/s) and as with the random read tests, our random write results were some way distant of the official 560,000 IOPS.

The drive holds its position in our random write results charts at the lower queue depths (1-4) before losing ground on drives around it at QD32 at the end of the test run.
