AOC teams up with Riot for League of Legends-themed gaming monitor

Following on from a recent collaboration for League of Legends-themed peripherals, Riot is continuing to partner with PC hardware companies. This time around, AOC has teamed up with Riot to produce a LoL themed gaming monitor. 

The AOC AG275QXL packs a 27-inch IPS panel with 170Hz refresh rate, 2560×1440 resolution, and 1ms G2G response time. The panel has a 10-bit colour depth, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a typical brightness of 350cd/m² in SDR, raising to 400cd/m² in HDR mode. These specifications allowed the monitor to receive VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification.

The AG275QXL's panel can cover 98% of the sRGB spectrum and 94% of the DCI-P3 gamut. In addition, the monitor is G-Sync compatible and comes factory calibrated, ensuring ΔE<2. To move through the OSD menu, you can use the included LoL-themed controller.

 

The back of the monitor and the included stand have RGB lighting that can be synchronised with LoL in-game actions thanks to Light FX Sync technology. In addition, the monitor uses LoL sound effects on start-up and shutdown.

Available ports include 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, 2x DisplayPorts 1.4, 4x USB 3.2 Gen1, a 3.5mm audio-out jack, and three 3.5mm jacks: an audio-out, a mic-out, and a mic-in. VESA mounting arms are also supported (100x100mm), but the included stand already gives you decent ergonomic options, allowing users to tilt, pivot, swivel, and adjust the height. There's also a pair of built-in 5W speakers.

For now, this monitor is only available in China, but considering the immense popularity of League of Legends across the world, it may become available in other regions.
