Tomb Raider received much acclaim from critics, who praised the graphics, the gameplay and Camilla Luddington’s performance as Lara with many critics agreeing that the game is a solid and much needed reboot of the franchise. Much criticism went to the addition of the multiplayer which many felt was unnecessary. We test with the ‘ultimate' image quality profile at 1080p and 1600p.


1080p is perfectly playable with both R9 285 and GTX760, although 1600p proves a challenge at these image quality settings. The R9 285 ITX almost manages to maintain a smooth 25+ frame rate, but the GTX760 falls short of the mark.
