This image shows the NAS' task manager CPU temperature while running the PCMark 10 disk benchmark. The CPU is running at a stable temperature of 47C, on a reasonably warm day with a room temperature of 25C. That indicates there's nothing to worry about with this NAS – it's keeping its CPU cool under normal operations. The Plus seemed to have more issues in this area, which appear to have been fixed with the Pro.
