To test the Ugreen DXP4800 Pro we installed four 4TB Seagate IronWolf Pro drives, built into RAID 0, 5, 6 and 10 arrays and then tested.

The Seagate IronWolf is a NAS-focused drive aimed at 24/7 operation running at 7,200rpm. Our drives were model number ST4000NT001. These boast a large 256MB cache, and the 2 million hour MTBF equates to a couple of hundred years of continuous operation. Seagate includes three years of complimentary Rescue Data Recovery Services. The warranty is five years.

We used an Armari Magnetar workstation as the testing client, with a Gigabyte AQtion AQC107 10Gb Ethernet PCI Express card installed.
