While AMD's latest generation graphics cards all support hardware acceleration for ray-tracing, the company has not revealed ray-tracing performance numbers during launch events. In the case of the RX 6700 XT, ray-tracing performance numbers have leaked early.

It has been a while since the RTX 3080Ti was last in the news. The latest rumours claim that the upcoming GPU will feature the crypto mining limiter that Nvidia added to the RTX 3060. Some details on memory configurations for the GPU were also shared. 

Late 2020 saw the release of three RX 6800-series graphics cards, so it was only a matter of time until RDNA 2 trickled down to the mid-range. That's what AMD announced today, in the form of the new RX 6700 XT graphics card. Targeting 1440p gamers, this new GPU is set to launch on March 18 with an MSRP of $479. Intel has released its new generation of mainstream NVMe M.2 SSDs - the Intel SSD 670p, featuring 144-layer 3D QLC NAND and available in capacities up to 2TB.

AMD confirmed it will be presenting new RX 6000 graphics cards on the 3rd of March at 16:00 PM GMT. During the announcement, we expect to see AMD detailing the Radeon RX 6700 series GPUs, including specs and pricing. 

AMD is allegedly preparing to launch two variants of the Radeon RX 6700 XT. Expected to release at the same time, the two variants of the card will feature different TGPs and presumably clock speeds. An April launch date is also hinted at. 

Until now, the only Rocket Lake-S processors spotted on benchmark databases have been Core i7 and i9 processors, but that has changed this week with the first Core i5 entry appearing on Geekbench 5. The new entry details the Intel Core i5-11600K, giving us some early performance numbers to compare against the competition. 

It looks like the next batch of Radeon GPUs are launching in one month's time...

Samsung has announced a new type of HBM. Named HBM-PIM, this is the world's first High Bandwidth Memory integrated with artificial intelligence processing power. Featuring a processing-in-memory design, HBM-PIM is aimed at data centre use, HPC systems, and AI-enabled mobile applications.

We are still quite far away from the launch of Intel Alder Lake CPUs, but early leaks keep coming. The latest leak comes from an alleged Intel presentation slide, detailing that Alder Lake CPU cores will feature a "20% single-threaded uplift" in performance compared to some previous architectures. Alder Lake also apparently boasts double the multi-thread performance of Tiger Lake-U. 

Samsung has announced that all of its Neo-QLED TVs will support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. This means gamers will be able to play at a smooth 120Hz refresh rate without tearing and with HDR enabled.

NZXT has issued a recall of all H1 case units sold in the United States of America and Canada. The voluntary recall has been announced by the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada on February 12th and should affect over 33,000 units sold in both countries.

A new report has shed some light on what we might expect from AMD in the coming future. From Zen 3+, through Zen 4, and ending on Zen 5, it looks like AMD isn't slowing down on generational performance leaps in the coming years.

Over the course of 2020, the PC market surged due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This has been particularly good for Intel, as the company has regained an impressive amount of market share in desktop PCs, laptops and servers.

Low supply of RX 6800 and RX 6900 GPUs has been an on-going problem, especially for those who want a reference design GPU at MSRP pricing. These graphics cards have been out of stock for a while now, but according to an AMD representative, more will be coming before the end of the quarter. 

Late last year, NZXT announced that it would be pausing sales and shipments of its Mini-ITX H1 case. This was due to a fire hazard caused by two screws included with the PCIe riser. New screws were sent out and the case went back on sale, but NZXT is pulling the case again...
