Those of you who have been following us for the last few years will know that we like to go big on competitions in December. This year, we are pleased to announce that the KitGuru Advent Calendar is returning, with the first competition kicking off tomorrow! 

Over the last few months, there has been an increasing number of rumours pointing to new Nvidia graphics cards in early 2022. One of these cards is apparently none other than the RTX 3090 Ti, which will reportedly feature new GDDR6X memory modules from Micron.

Much Like Nvidia's GPUs, AMD GPUs have become equally expensive this year, selling for almost twice their MSRP. This week, KitGuru's resident modder and reviewer - James Dawson - began work testing the Thermaltake Divider 200 Air TG case. Pretty quickly it became apparent there was an issue with the motherboard tray standoffs and James simply could not install a motherboard in the case. As a direct result of this work, Thermaltake has now issued a statement to KitGuru that the Divider 200 Air TG is going to be re-designed.

Intel’s performance offering from the 12th Gen processors is impressive. The gaming crown looks to be back Intel’s hand, and AMD also needs to respond to their overall performance crown being infringed upon. How will AMD respond? And what are the timescales? There’s also the elephant in the room of Apple, with the M1 silicon continuing to make impressive performance strides...

Whenever a company, publisher or developer disappoints fans, there aren’t too many avenues which the users can utilise in order to have their voices heard. One of the few methods is through user reviews. GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition has now become the lowest rated game of all time on Metacritic, with a score of 0.5/10.

While many of us are eager to dive back into GTA 3, Vice City or San Andreas in remastered form, the new 'definitive editions' are far from being the best way to play these titles. In fact, you might be better off avoiding them entirely.

Luke and Leo share their reaction to the launch of Intel 12th Gen

When Valve announced the Steam Deck earlier this summer, the company planned to begin shipping to pre-order customers in Q4 this year. Unfortunately, there have been shortages in the supply chain, so the Steam Deck has been delayed to Q1 2022.
